For starters, I'd recommend going back through earlier posts asking for recommendations for photogenic spots in Oregon. There were many good suggestions in the replies. Almost all those locations have numerous views on the web.
I'm not trying to set off a furor here, but in my opinion Oregon has some of the most beautiful scenery in the nation. The strip of coastal forests are a diverse mix of broadleaf trees and conifers, winding rivers, and broad open meadows and marshes. The coastline itself is a beautiful mix of dunes, huge beaches, and dramatic rocky shores. Then you have the coastal range, the Cascades, the desert....
In addition to targeting certain suggested spots, why not explore and find new and unique places? It's a rich environment with plenty to discover. In my opinion, your location in Eugene is in the middle of the best. Within a few hours you can traverse several beautiful routes to the most diverse sections of the coast (Florence dunes to Bandon rocks, including Cape Arago), or head in the opposite direction up into the Cascades and the high desert.
Some of the best photography in Oregon was done 40-50 years ago. For inspiration, try your library or used book stores for the old coffee table books showing the Oregon forests, coast, Malheur, and Steen's mountain....
