Sorry - it's up now. Something is wrong with flickr - I cannot get the link to the photo like I usually do to post so I had to host it on my own site. I hope flickr fixes that - that's how I host all of my photos. :/

No, I've had the same issues with flickr. It moves around, changes where you grab the code. Pain.

Another great shot, but the Before and After tells the true story of this shot's beauty. I think shooting a great shot is critical, but having the skills to take it from that great shot and adding elements through PS is what takes one's photography to a whole new level in today's world. That's one of the things that sets you apart, Lisa. Great job!

Getting the sky in with bracketing or major burning and even removing powerlines works for me, but adding props is too much PP for my taste. There's no question the final photo illustration is beautiful, of course.

This definitely wasn't my typical shot, and I don't normally spend this long post processing anything, but once in a while it works for me (especially on a personal shot). Compositing in the wagon only took a couple of minutes as I had photographed it separately just a few frames prior. The only reason I did not actually photograph him sitting in the wagon is because he was eying the pebbles in the road and tried to dive for one (dad caught him). We felt he was safer sitting directly on the ground.

Hmmm. Great photo as usual. Not an easy one into the sunset. As a parent it was hard to concentrate on. Kept looking to the dip in the road between the little downhill and the long straightway for that crazy in a Porsche doing autobahn speeds way out there to pop up the hill. Just my early life as an EMT/Fireman coming out. As the art director I would have moved the location a little.

My impression is someone left a child behind in a wagon and the child is looking off in the distance for their parent. This is a very sad image.

how did you get the hoodie to stick straight out like that? is it a prop hoodie? He has worn this same one before in a previous image so I figured its just a normal toddler hoodie right?

I figured some people might interpret it that way, Shappy. Maybe next time I'll do something similar but have my husband pulling the wagon. I view it differently because I know we were right there with him, making him giggle, etc. I have pics of him looking right at me, smiling, and figure those might have a different feel than this one, but for whatever reason, the little off in the distance look with the pointed hood caught my heart. @nextelbuddy, it's just a regular sweater/hoodie - I have no idea why it stuck out like that in this pic. I have other pics of him wearing the same sweater and it didn't look that way. I think that's partly why I liked it so much. lol Here's another from a different location of him wearing the same thing. I guess it does stick up a little but not quite as much here.
