Hi PhotoFriends,

I am so excited that I decided to go back to the lake today hoping to see some different ducks.

I hit the jackpot!!!

This is the first time I have seen a Redhead ducks! What a treat it was and to get a few good photos of her was a

I think they are migrating through because they are not common in my area.

Nice BB. You sure got close to your subject. I like #1 best. She looks like she gazing out over horizon, sizing up her options on where to go next.

A strong set, Bee.
I particularly like the closeup of the female mallard- made even better by the lovely water surrounding her.

Congrats on the rarities BB. Nothing brightens up a normal shooting day like seeing something different. I really like the first portrait, the clear eye really draws me in to that one. Fine set all around
