I have a couple down days back home in Colorado before I have to go back to school, so I thought I'd share some shots.


These first few are from a backcountry ski hut in the northern San Juans.

Thanks for sharing these. Looks like you had a great adventure and some nice time off. I really like the cabin shot.

Love the hut shot

#1- nice sunstar, I would crop from the bottom to just under the tree (non-bare) one in foreground to eliminate its shadow. the direction of the shadows leads my eyes out of the scene

How did you process--straight blend?, ND also??

Love the first two! (although I would try to remove the lens flare in the first)

I thought Winter Break was the name of a place somewhere cold. Guess not. Nice images.

I'll play with the crop and see what I think. It's just a straight conversion in lightroom, no ND.

Haha, I'll assure you plenty of these spots were cold
