Phew, I was hoping you were just going to show an eating series and you didn't have TB! (Especially if was going to see you tomorrow

)...The images appear overly dark/shadowed and I wonder if that is a feature of having to control the whites/hot spots as much as you do. The few white/bright areas in the sun just look so much "nicer". Could you selectively lift the shadows without affecting the parts of the bird that are already lit up?

Cool series. I agree with Eric that the shadows could be pushed up more but that may ruin it as the problem is really in the original shooting conditions and the sun was at a horrible angle in respect to your subject. None the less, it is a great behavioural series and I enjoyed it...always amazed what birds can swallow

I especially like the light coming through the mouth and illuminating threw the skin in 3 & 4, don't think I have ever seen that before! Great documentation Morris

A terrific series, Morris.
#2 has a special dynamic to it that I really like, i,e, the fish is still fighting to get loose.
