Beautiful birds, very nice images Don... love the Flycatcher and the Roller.
Nice backup plan when you're waiting for tigers.

Kirk

Thanks Kirk. I'm always yelling "stop" at my driver to get these shots most don't care about. Don

What a beautiful set of birds, Don. I keep scrolling up and down to view and compare but I can't pick a single one out. Each one is beautiful. I love them all.

Cool set Don. I like that colorful flycatcher best , although I wish to have seen the complete tail. Is it much longer before it's obscured by the oof leaves ?

Thanks Herb. You see almost the entire tail in this shot. I always find it tricky to get a good shot of a bird with an oversized tail. Don

A stunning array, Don.
Really spectacular birds and spectacular shooting.
Looks like a fairly large insect in the hornbill's mouth- or is it something else?
Charlie

Thanks Charlie. It was a large beetle of some sort. Don

Fantastic images. The roller is awesome. Whereabouts in India where you looking for tigers, and did you get to see any?

Beautiful set of birds Don! It is important to see the world around you and not be too focused on only the target species

Don you have some superb shots here.

Tha Paradise flycatcher is rather a common bird but so very difficult to get a good photograph off because it never sits still for more that a couple of secs...

The other shots are all excellent too.

Beautiful shots Don. Paradise flycatchers (specially the male that you shot) are really difficult targets due to their tendency to take flights every few seconds. The last done is a "Yellow Footed Green Pigeon" I believe. Another difficult to spot bird.

Thanks. This is the best flycatcher I've taken. You are correct about fluttering. The green pigeon was at a water hole with many other birds and a tiger. Don
