These are all simply exceptional! Your shots are always such a pleasure to view!
I've already forwarded this post to my wife who is a Docent at The Philadelphia Zoo, and the "big cats" have always been her favorite.
2013 was definitely one of your best years, and I'm looking forward to seeing images from your 2014 travels.

These are marvelous Eric...always enjoy looking at your big cat shots...get to see such great images of animals I know I most likely will never get to take pictures of...but I can imagine just seeing yours...thanks for sharing.

Thanks very much Bruce. I'm not sure why or how I am lucky enough to get the volume of shots I do of these spotty cats. But I do treasure every minute I get to spend with them and never tire of seeing them in their natural setting.

Hey, remember the TV show THE Cat...the title role was played by Robert Loggia and he was Thomas Heward Edward Cat...a burglar I think...anyway, I digress. No Conradian influence but I'm glad to see not many seemed to mind my posting as many as I did.
And not only am I sitting on quite a bit...our friend from Seattle hasn't even scratched the surface...wait'll you get load of his stash!

Hey Tim....I guess the cat is out of the bag as we say

Now you know how to get a year's worth of cat images in about a week. I doubt many others would have the patience that we had waiting hours upon hours to get those shots....but in the end it is worth it.
You know that movie "I know what you did last summer?" Well I have an inkling what you did that I must do...it sounds amazing!

Thanks so much John. I just wish I could show the huge difference in size of the two spotted cats one from the other. The leopard is dainty, 40-75lbs for females and maybe up to 125-150 for males...contrast that with a 300+lbs male jaguar and females that reach half to 2/3 of that.
The grimmace/snarl is really just the end of a yawn...I'm not into baiting but having the tracker sitting on a small seat on the front of a Land Rover in Botswana comes pretty close!

Braam, thank you for all your support. It really does make a difference when people take the time to comment...the feedback is really important both in terms of improving the skill set but also knowing that these are images people like to see. Being funny just happens I guess, although I never aspired to be a starving writer
