driving by the local dump the other day seen about 2 dozen eagles forging for food, this was the only one in good light and not in the middle of a garbage pile, up till now i refused to go out there as i would rather find them out in the wild vs the dump but cabin fever got the best of me, this winter its been either bitter cold or snowing

@Brian,

Man, you cracked me up with the first five words of the narrative.

It just sounded funny that the location would be a dump to go and photograph! Though I know they are smart birds and the opportunity is there for them so I would do the same

Cool pose on #2. I was told by an avian guy that the puff up is a sign of stress relief during a discussion about knowing and understanding how not to pressure birds. It is always something I consider in the field.
