I want to say South Africa (Pilanesberg) on this one. I need to fish through my card since it was joined with a huge mess of images. Long story.....driving out was a rush at both camps but glad I got it back and yup - a young one for sure.

Wonderful late PM light characteristic of Pilaansberg. Very cute to find such a youngster with mother although a little odd as they usually stay in a larger heard for added protection when so young. Best for 2014.

Me too! But I need another Aussie fix first. Then, I will make another pass through the beauty of Southern Africa. Sure would be cool to get a group together and do a week long blast or something.

Yup. Kind of a straggler and wondered if there may have been other issues. The did move fine and no apparent injuries. Looking back at my set and notes we did find a breeding herd about half km in the direction they had been moving. Maybe the baby will be there when I reunite.
