The early fall color this year in Zion forced me to think more creatively than in the past. On my 4th day in the park, I took two photos, both were of details on the ground. This first photo was taken as a storm began to clear in the park. Fresh rain water coated everything, making for some wonderful colors. I'll share the second image from this day in a separate post. Ben, it's great to see you applying your superb skills and vision to the more intimate scenes. And the gear leaves no detail uncaptured. This is effective and really a little game for my eyes to play as they explore all the areas.

Well done. A very nice compliment to the broader scenes I've seen in your work. Just curious--did you place the leaf? Regardless, I like the composition.

This was my favorite from the "unveiling" video you posted a few weeks ago. I'm not sure why I like it so but it's one of my favorites of yours period.

Great capture Ben. It's like looking at an aerial view

so much details packed in. I like the lone maple as its color really contrasts with the green.
