Howdy!

The Annual Lock and Dam 14 "Hotdog and Chili Cookout" will be on January 11th of 2014. This event is a great time to meet many new photogs from all over the world, many of which are FM'ers.

I'm sure that you will bump into "Burt". He has many stories to tell and will entertain you when there is a lull in the eagle fishing sequences.

Come one, come all, it's free of charge, just BYO drinks.

If this is your first time visiting Lock and Dam 14, there are some nice motels near the the Lock located towards Le Claire, IA. The location of the Dam is between Le Claire and Betttendorf, Iowa, with the entrance on the Iowa side of the Mississippi River. If you plan on flying, there is a major airport in Moline, IL some 10 miles away from the Lock and Dam.

Eagle photo production has been very good this year, hopefully there will be many fishing eagles to photograph on the 11th.

Good luck with the outing Larry. Go easy on the hot sauce in the chilli. Don't want you all warming the atmosphere with green house gasses. Nice shots by the way.
