The more time I spend editing these 2 days of shooting with the 1DX, the more impressed and excited I am to be headed back this week.

Terrific individual images, and a super sequence, Kent.

Thanks for the nice comment.

1900 is if you turn raw off and shoot JPG only! Just kidding the 1DX does 14 in JPG, and 11 in RAW.

The 1DX is a game changer, as they say. The autofocus is dead on. Watch out for that blazing frame rate, great as it is, you'll find that all that action inside the mirror chamber tosses all manner of garbage on your sensor. Everyone I know that has one experiences the largest concentration of trash in the upper left quarter of the image. I shoot aviation and have made it a habit to clean the sensors in my 1DX bodies after every assignment where I have taken advantage of the machine gun like frame rate. Where it will bite you is the next time you have a bright scene that bumps your aperture up the scale to f/11 and smaller.

The 1DX is a wonderful tool, just keep the "Visible Dust" tools handy.

Beautiful images! Nicely done!!
