Looks like it was snowing as you pressed the shutter. Glad that's not dust in your skies! Nice image, Sunny.

Love this scene and processing! It just needs a CCW turn to level it.

Hey Sunny,

Cool shot, the B&W looks great here. Now good luck on leveling this as Scott pointed out because the rocks look level to me. So if you make the distant shoreline level, then the foreground rocks will be crooked I think.

Thanks Scott. The shot is perfectly level. The tripod was level, the bubble thingie on top of camera was centered, the horizon thingie in the camera was green all the way

Although you say the shot is level (and I believe you!!!) I still can't get past the uneven feel. I keep finding myself tilting my head when I look at it.

A killer scene for sure.

Well, then I suspect you have a faulty bubble level.

One thing you can count on in nature is that items reflected in the water will always be perfectly vertical between the object and it's reflection.

I took your image and drew red lines from parts of the image to their reflections. As you can see the lines are all slanted. I then rotated the image so the most distant line in the water is level by zooming in. As you can see the lines are now vertical and the image is now level.

Was this a single exposure or multi-image panorama?

Like this image a lot Sunny, however as you say it is level which I fully believe is true, I also feel a little CCW tweak helps the viewers eye. Have had similar dilemmas myself and I feel in the end one need to strike a fine balance. Scots levelling above I feel is a wee tad overdone.

I strongly disagree. Like I said earlier there is one thing that is absolute in nature, reflected objects in water are perfectly vertical to their counterparts. No debate.

I know what is happening here. There are many elements fighting each other. The rocks are at a slight angle in relation to the scene and where the mountain meets the water is creating a line that is tapering down to the left because the camera is elevated above the water. It is a perspective issue. The further left of the image you look the closer the mountain is in relation to the camera. The image seems to have been leveled based on that line when in reality it would be tapered due to the camera being elevated about the water. The higher up the camera is the more it will seem to taper. Its all perspective.

I drew the lines to confirm the photo is not level then I leveled it based on the furthest line in the very center of the image where the mountain meets the water since it is the most square to the camera and would be the best line to use for leveling.

My edit, is level, but the compounding elements are all paying against each other to create a challenge.

You can all agree or disagree but facts are facts.

I, for one, agree with you 110%....it's a simple law of physics. No arguing that....even Sheldon Cooper couldn't argue that one!

Again, Sunny - it takes nothing away from the image. It's a beautiful scene and nicely captured.

Even Einstein would have to agree with your precision argument

Aside from it feeling tilted to the right, I love it. It has such an old school feel.
