Nice job.....I would have liked to have seen an accent light of sorts, to add separation between the subject and background. The first one especially, is crying out for some depth! Being the second image is just a flip of the first, it would have also benefitted by a hair light.

The first image really grabbed me...I love her hair! Would have liked to see an accent light on her hair from camera right, but overall, nicely done!

I'm not "people guy", but that first image is great. Love the colors in the hair and that BG color really sets it off.
