This is from last spring, I am pretty sure I never posted it.

Ben, did you convert the color space to sRGB before uploading? This does not look like your typical processing. The colors are almost neon on my monitor.

Other than the color, this is an interesting image. It is unusual to see the foreground primarily on the left side of the image and the midground on the right side. This looks like a beautiful area.

Hi Jim, yes I converted to sRGB. It did require a three image blend to get some DR. Otherwise I used my normal processing. In recent months I have turned off vibrance, saturation and clarity in ACR so I start even flatter than in the past. This has one pass of Topaz pop (luminance mode) then a saturation action that is very mild.

I believe the sky and mountain are very faithful to the scene but perhaps the grass is too bright. But I love bright primary colors and I will usually discard any image that is dark. I think this is because my vision is so dim.

Im not on my calibrated monitor so I cant say much about the colour, but for me the sky is taking up way too much real estate in this composition. I'd like to see more of the valley, and what is over the hill. It is a nice gradient of colour, but I want to see more of what makes this location special.

There also seems to be a few dark edges remaining on the hill tops from the blending. Do you use any specialized masks, or just do it by hand/brush?

Just looked at it on my wifes Samsung tablet where it is much brighter than on my 80CD monitor. I guess I need to decide if I want to post or print.

Utah Valley has a lot of haze and it was showing up as a white fog against those mountains. I use a 3 image gaussian blend as explained here.

This does not leave any halos of edges, but my effort to brush in some contrast in the fog left those witnesses.

This one is darkened to show better on web browsers. I also cropped a lot of sky per Justins comment. I don't have anything of the valley and would not want it anyway, it is a haze filled view of a highly populated area.
