Friday the 13th brought me no snowies but on my way during a white-out at the edge of the golf course I found this fellow hunkered down.
I'm going to ask you to guess his ID and I will reveal it later.

He's found his way to south western Nova Scotia this year but I believe he is way off course. He summers in the high Arctic. Looks like he is staying around for the winter. I also believe him to be alone.

I hope to bean the ID. My guess is Anser fabalis, which is not native to North America I don't believe. Nice images Paul!!

Very nice shots. Ken beat me to the possible ID. Is it a tundra bean or Taiga Bean?

You guys are correct, its the bean goose. Don't know which tho Tundra or Taiga.
