Angst, not excitement, I hate hiking the beach in snowstorms.

Terrific set, Morris.
My favorites are those where the owl has turned its head 180 degrees and is staring straight at you.
I wonder- if they are startled and suddenly turn back the wrong way- will they break their necks?

Darn, I was waiting for the old joke of a blank white screen.
We have suddenly got an influx of Snowys down in southern Ontario. So they must be getting hungry up north. I haven't seen one yet, so hopefully I will have your good fortune for a stunning subject soon.

They are most awake late in the day. I like to arrive at about 2p as this provides time to locate them and have a nice shoot before the sun sets before 4:30p
