A visit during July to the transfrontier park between South Africa and Botswana presented a few moments with these speedy cats. The softness of the early morning sun lasts only a few minutes in the dry desert air.

These are excellent shots in their own right Braam. The first two for the soft rim lighting, the second for the intimate peak into their behavior and the last for the mirrored image. I really like 2, that one steals my eye

Fantastic lighting and you did a great job using it to make some beautiful images! Hard to pick favorites when they're all this good, but I'd say 2 and 4 are amazing!

Super nice images Braam! The third is pretty neat. The claws seem to have red on them. Meat bits? Damaged paws?

I looked at all the other images I have of the pair and do not see any signs that answers your question.
