#7 is proof that closer is not always better. The surrounding vegetation adds a lot to the photo. Great job!

Thanks Roberta...those images were my favorites as well...it set up like a little amphitheater and framed the owl so well.

I concur with Tim - 4 & 5 are my pics and I think Tim's comments are valid. I like 5 for the owl looking into the picture and the context given around the bird.
