Thanks so much Bruce. Hard to believe that this place is wall to wall bodies come summer. I haven't been there except to photograph snowys since I was a kid. And next to cats owls are right up there in my list of faves.

That is a great shot! I've never seen a Snowy Owl let alone photograph one!

Thanks BB...my experience with snowys is pretty limited but I do think its funny to shoot them on the sand.

I'm not sure if the bird is blue but my fingers surely were. In fact I did white balance this a little blue...nice pick up...I will put it back in the warming oven for a few. Thanks!
