Ken this is such a marvelous set ! Living in the Deep South where we do not even have a hill much less mountains ( unless you want to count the man made levees ) ; I am am awestruck by the beauty you have captured. So very well done.

Thank you kindly acjd. I was really enjoying the view too. Took a variety of images but this was the one that worked best (imo).

Thank you kindly Tim! I was mistaken in thinking Ron had asked for some shots of the area (getting old!). Sorry about that. Glad you enjoyed the set. If the light was more favourable (and if I had some ND filters), I would have taken more. That particular stretch of highway is a real highlight, with some pretty special views.

Thank you so much Birdie. After many decades, I am still enthralled with the mountains in Alberta and surrounding provinces and states. I hope I have many more visits left.

Nice set of shots Ken...I like that second one particularly...I was really taken by the beauty of the area...I'll do it again next year and spend more time, if I could work it out I'd rather do it with another photographer.

Thanks for stopping in Scott! It is indeed a beautiful area. If you can afford a few weeks, you would have time to hike, see a wider variety of flora bloom, and have more opportunities to sight critters. And you can revisit your favorite areas in different light conditions.

Thank you Ron. Much appreciated. I agree that people in shots can often lend interest to an image. I've come to appreciate that more as I see good examples of it here on the forum.
