Number 2 for sure, and the rock at the bottom needs to go. I would like the first one if the exposure was a little longer, but not as it stands.

Thanks to everyone for their feedback. Unfortunately, I still don't know which one to pick, but here are some cropped versions of each. Not sure how I feel about the crop, but I figured I would bow to the consensus and get another read from everyone.

1. No waves, no terra firma

2. Waves, no terra firma

Wow, I'm surprised at how different they both are with the bottom rock being cropped out.

First, in my opinion both are MUCH better cropped.

Second... they are such different images that I am now having a hard time picking a favourite. I don't find the wave distracting with the bottom rock gone. First time around I preferred the no wave version, now with the crop I am leaning towards the wave version.

Either way they are both great images.

I would have to pick the shot without the foam. Being able to see individual, slightly blurred bubbles really takes all of my attention away from the rest of the scene. I think with a longer exposure to render the bubbles unrecognizable and into interesting lines would have worked a lot better.
