I was recently inspired by a shot that Charlie posted of Ausable falls at the Ausable Chasm, It has some pretty amazing falls and some nice high wall gorges, it's one of those places they refer to as the Grand Canyon of the East.. we have a few . It is more of a tourist attraction than a pure landscape location , with tours and river runs but I was up there last June and figured what the heck I will check it out and see what was going on. Here are 3 images from the area. The large main Fall in #3 is accessible from a bridge so it's difficult to get the perfect comp., #2 was also shot form the same bridge but easier to isolate and #1 is down at river level. It's a paid attraction so you are limited to the time you can access the locations by the river, it was raining and overcast so I got a little lucky with the skies for the time of day these were shot.
