Myrmarachne sp.
Most ant mimicking jumpers are solid red or black, as is the morphological character of most ants. Therefore I was surprised and delighted to find this multicoloured specimen, one of the most beautiful I've seen of this genus.

Nice variety. The ant/caterpillar scene is gruesome

The springtail is great looking.

Nice variety again. #3 takes my eye, amazing how creatures camouflage themselves. I think it would look better bigger, if only to see the detail better.

Hey Mark, thanks for the comment. Don't worry I've got over 500 shots of this little guy. I wanted to provide a contextual shot with a little bit of macroscape. I do indeed have closeups with greater detail. I'll post those if I start running on empty with my finds
