The TechArt is pretty slow, takes about half to a full second to focus, however, it is quite accurate.
Its a good bit slower than how the G mount glass used to focus on the G camera's, but the adapter likely has less power, or a finer gearing.
Your not going to be shooting action with it, but for portraits and such, it works really well and seems to nail the focus
Focusing wide open at f2.8 makes a big difference too. When you forget and try to focus at f4 or 5.6 it sometimes just hunts
the MF is actually pretty nice with the adapter but I've found AF is spot on about 90% of the time so that is how I generally use mine
