It takes the whole day. YOu will have to be in wet suit, carry foods, water, camera, tripod....heavy stulls

Wonderful captures. The narrows are a special place. My only regret when I visited was leaving the polarizer back in the hotel room.

Be sure you are prepared for it physically. It is rather strenuous and we have big camera, tripod in addition to water, food for the day. I was fighting upstream from 8 AM to 2 PM. I thought I would climb out and take a shuttle home . No you have to go all the way back to where you started at 8AM.
