No, not eagles. What are you thinking! A large gathering of male ostrich started a display, chase and some nasty kicking. I suppose it's about the ladies! Thanks for looking. Don

No matter; the feathers flew! It ended quickly without serious casualty.

Never seen that before. Very good series. On that last one, I kept thinking, "Man, that's would make one giant ostrich leg roast!

Great Don. I saw a lot of these in SA last August but never saw them display behaviour like this. Well captured.

Interesting shots, most people don't associate Ostriches with such spirited activity...kind of reminds me of the two guys I saw fighting at the traffic stop this afternoon. Lots of yelling, chasing and punching. Ended up about the same as this one.
I like the chase shot best of all.

Awesome action. I guess they don't do backflips like the eagles but they sure do put on a great display none the less. Thanks for sharing....how many days is this trip?

What tiny heads on big bodies. They do remind me of dinos. Neat action set Don. Nicely captured.
