There's something not right about them, especially the close up on the face in number 1. Looks almost like it wasn't all that sharp to begin with, but then was over sharpened in post in order to compensate. My first thought is that the images were taken with a low budget lens. Pro glass makes a huge difference and this could be the result of what I'm seeing, I don't know. Compare close ups of other images where the eyes are tack sharp and I think you might see what I'm talking about.
The rest of them are ok, but again, they lack something, at least for me. It might be the bokah, which it lacks, but perhaps was not of interest to the photographer and wanted lots of depth of field for these.
The feel of them for me seems forced, not natural or comfortable, both in poses as well as general photography work.
