Yeah, as you can tell, a bit different snow conditions than when you were there last year. I will probably go back in 2 weeks time when the snow has settled on the ground to get some different images. Thanks for your advice on the trip. We had some tough sun to deal with both days but it worked out okay.

Really fantastic, especially the 'action' shots! I get to see a few baldies around here in the winter months, but they are almost never out and about so it is great to live vicariously through shots like this.

Technically superb images. The action is great, especially the first one.. too bad the tail feather clipped slightly, otherwise that would be truly award-winning in my eyes. This is a fun set, right up there with Ari's images

Loved all the images. The show stopper was the third one I'd say.

Thank you very much for the comment Mike. Ari's images were what motivated me to make the trip down to Haines finally as I'd always kept putting it off the last few years. As I consider Ari's images to be among the very best posted on FM, having mine compared to his makes me proud. I think I still have a little ways to go to match his talent though.

Thanks David. The eagles were very timid in pulling out the dying yet still flopping fish. Most would wait for another to do it and then just try and steal it from them. The youngster in the last photo decided to brave it out but I'm not sure if he managed to keep the fish. A few times I saw a fish flop its way back into the water minutes after being dragged out of the water. Fun to watch anyways.
