Thanks guys!

I was just swinging the camera around on the tripod while looking for Desert Bighorn Sheep at dawn. I liked what was happening in the canyon.

I may have over sharpened a tad. I was trying a different sharpening technique that I found on the internet from a famous NX2 guru. Next time I'll try Steve Perry's from his video...

I like the light and shadows and curves.

Hard to comment on the sharpening from this shot. Usually I have to see a few versions of sharpening to choose how much I think is right.

I like it. You did a great job with shadow detail.
I wouldn't say you over sharpened this, guess it depends on your tastes. I think lit rocks will have more contrast naturally and can appear sharper than the shadows. Nice job.

Great image, love the contrast between the shadows and sun. Only thing I might cheat a bit on would be warming the image up and pushing some of the blue towards yellow.

A very sweet scene.
The terracing of this formation is almost like benches in an arena!
The tighter view nicely accentuates this and is in sync with my preferences of late

The colors too are a great warm/cold combination. Wouldn't warm it up.
Besides, I think it would also look great on some Velvia!

Modern cameras really let you pull the detail back out.
