Great shot Jim. I like the composition and the tones in this one. The sun rays coming out of the clouds as well as the marine birds (seagulls?) make it really interesting. I really dig the feel of the place when I look at it. Excellent work.
Love that cali feel to this picture. Of course in the coming months its gonna get colder for the beach goers in Norcal, but thats great for me since I can photograph in peace .
One possible nit: perhaps a crop just below the bottom sun reflection to take out a bit of the sand, and let the fantastic light and colors drive this beauty.

Thanks so much! Yes, those are seagulls and it's nice when they fly according to orders...

Beautiful capture Jim with lovely golden tones. I like the birds in there for the additional interest. Definitely makes me want to head out there and shoot since I've been away from the area for what seems like such a long time.
