This sunset shot at Arches (as compared to my last post) had some nice, colorful clouds down low. In fact it's almost from the same spot, looking the opposite way.

Very nice colours and elements. I like your composition but the tree in the lower right is not working for me. You could crop it out and it would still work. I like the tree in the middle foreground. Do you have any other takes from this spot? It looks like many photo compositions possible in this place.

I thought about cropping about 10% off the right side too. Besides lessening the lower right tree, it would move the peak that is now in the middle, slightly to the right.
I was mainly shooting the other direction and when I turned around, there was all this color in the sky. I wish I had shot more from there I like the little middle tree too. I wish I had moved closer to it for another shot.

I like the crop too. It's more focus on the main event of the photo. It's a pretty tough shot I think for composition because its hard to get a "clean" shot with all these bushes all over the place. But I think you captured the color well and the shot works.
I like the little middle tree too. I wish I had moved closer to it for another shot.
