Very nice. Sunstar is a bonus. Great to have lenses that produce nice sunstars. Part of the reason I want to upgrade my canon 17-40 to a 16-35 II and maybe even get a 24-70 II.
Very nice shot! I love the light on this one. This makes me wish I had spent some more time when I was there at maples other than "the tree" that everyone shoots. Well done!

The sun was just breaking through the morning fog when I was sitting in front of this maple in the Portland Japanese Garden. Does this work?

Wonderful shot! Quite different from the other shots I have seen taken at this location.
19mm with such star burst. What lens was used for this shot? I know 16-35 does not produce such star burst..
Raja, I used the Nikon 14-24 / 2.8 lens. I got it only recently and is an amazing piece of glass. Also use a tuned-down fill flash to lighten up the underside of the tree.
