Went scouting out the fall colors at Fiery Gizzard, part of the South Cumberland State Park, yesterday. Knew it was early but also wanted to see how the water was flowing in the creeks. Colors seem to be about 1.5-2 weeks away from peak. Here are a few from my late afternoon scouting expedition.

was only out for about an hour in the woods and as I was leaving, the sky really started to show its stuff. I hurried to an overlook I knew on private property I am affiliated with. The gate was locked and I hurried on foot down the gravel drive just as the sky's colors began to wane. Here is what I came home with.
