Yes the Sony looks nice too but oh well I have invested in a few Oly lens now. Just have to wait for a new Oly body maybe EP6? Ideally, I would like it to be around the 20Megapixels mark.

I synced the ELinchrom using Elinchrom Skyport trigger (wirelessly).

It was mentioned in the videos i watched that Nikon/Canon glass (namely) can be used on the A7 bodies with the Metabone adaptor and still retain AF capabilities, now that's interesting.

Oh yeah forgot about the Skyport trigger, i'd have to find something else. Maybe get a Paul C Buff cyber commander for the Einstein.

Whether Micro4/3 or NEX, the tricky part in mirrorless camera selection is the lens. Lens sizes and performance for these vary over a wider range than with DLSR lenses. Some mirrorless lenses are not much smaller than a DSLR lens, so take care there. If you are concerned with convenience that is.

That is true, just browse over a few M4/3 related gear forums helps a lot

p.s. I also found out the battery life didn't last very long, I also have purchased some 3rd party batteries and they are the same, I think the image stabilization system really drains a lot of battery power.

I'm sorry but I feel like these shots are over sharpened to am almost harsh effect. A bit blown out for my tastes.

I'm a big fan of your work but I don't believe this is on par to your past work.

Hi Javier,

Thank you for your feed back, it's very useful for me, so I should change my normal process procedure to exclude the sharpening bit out of the workflow. I shot these in JPG format so the camera probably already have applied some sort of sharpening to the JPG files. I am still feeling my workflow from images shot from this camera but I think it will take me a while to fine tune this but I do appreciate your constructive feedback

With a PEN in any of the PASM modes you can select the "Natural" Picture Mode, then dial the JPG sharpening all the way back if desired. Even save that to a Custom setup. Of course in RAW the camera's sharpening setting becomes moot. I have not encountered any issues processing the RAW files with Adobe's ACR.

I wus thunderstruck that my little PEN has more camera customization options than my mighty 50D!

Hi Kelly,
Thanks. I think it's more that I actually applied additional sharpening in my post processing work that 'caused this, so I just have to take that bit out of my post processing workflow (one less thing to do) and it should be fine

Excellent, well done! Shows what can be done with a m43 system in the right hands.

Thank you, still learning about the camera and having fun.
