Here is a shot from a safari I led in 2012 in South Africa to the Sabi Sands Game Reserve. This female leopard had a 6 month old cub, and they had just had a spat over the remains of the bushbuck carcass, the last snarl was for us!

We were inadvertantly close, we parked to view them at a distance but the cub then took the carcass up the fallen tree right next to us - the mother wasnt charmed thus the snarl for us!

Super shot Jamie...they are beautiful animals but not to be messed with and certainly not with a young cub. You got your warning and lucky you to capture it. Is that a spot light or headlight from the vehicle?
