and the few that are left don't come in as far as my place

A magnificent image, Kenny!
As a registered dinosaur, I'd like to know how you get such a shot, please.
When the fisher catches a fish and lands on a branch you have anticipated as well as this- do you run the motor at full blast until the fish is gulped down?
Or do you wait for the critical moment and THEN run the motor at full blast?
With my old film cameras- I'd get one try only for such a critical moment- and usually be an instant too late.
