Friscoron,
I spent 10 days in Nairobi for business earlier this month, and was able to get some time away from work. The first two images are of Masai herdsman who live at the west side of Nairobi National Park, a wildlife preserve southwest of the city of Nairobi.
The third image was taken in an area called Tigoni about 45 minutes north of Nairobi, where a number of large tea plantations take advantage of both the altitude (about 7,000 feet) and above average rainfall for the area. The plantations utilize people to pick the tea, as mechanical means tend to produce a lower quality tea. Kenya is one of the worlds largest tea exporters. In this image, pickers are working these fields. They are paid by the kilogram.
