I got to spend the day with a good friend of mine out shooting at Petit LeMans yesterday. Faces everywhere...from the crowd to the grid girls...but I thought I would use this one for my WA entry. This is my friend Don, in action at the track. He is the one who has been my mentor for the last 7+ years as I got back into photography. I could say it is all his fault! So, my WA is a tribute to him...without him sharing his knowledge about photography, I would not know half of what I know today.

Title is right-on for the photo.
A nice tribute.

Thanks Greg. Yep, he was concentrating...looking for just the right car for the shot he wanted. He is a great guy, I am lucky to know him.

Photo pics for the WA often times seem a bit cheezy, trite or cliche' (but oh so fun, anyway) ... this one is spot on.
Hey Kent, thanks! I try to avoid the cheezy stuff...so I opted not to use the grid girls posing with the guys grining from ear to ear acting like they had never seen a pretty girl...
Glad you like the shot. I think Don is already using it on FB...

Thanks for taking the time and your comments. I appreciate it.

Travis, I like the journalistic look to your image. Very well done!
Thanks Klaus. I wish I knew what it was that made it journalistic.
