Went for another ( very ) early morning drive in the Wasatch Mountains yesterday.
Revisited some now familiar spots to check on how they looked in post-peak fall color
I was there when the very first light hit the peak of Mt Timpanogos, but without a cloud in the sky it was just another beautiful non-photogenic sunrise.
I took the long scenic route home and stopped to shoot a few pictures in the places where the morning light revealed something of interest.
Here's one where the light slanting in across the scene caught my eye.

I was there just after you but around 10:00AM. Those reds were simply brown by that time. That golden light sure lives up to it's name.

If I had not seen your other shots from here, I would love this one.
