Drove the loop yesterday, and its about a week too late. There is some good color as you enter from the Payson side, and Surprisingly some color left near the summit.

The road had snow above 7,000 ft and it was snowing while we were there. Nebo was pretty nice. There is also some color in the Salt Creek area as you finish the loop.

Sorry for the blown clouds, I did not have a fixable exposure. But this does show the color.

Note, this road climbs above 9,000 feet.

That was a hand held shot, I wish I had set up my tripod and taken a series so that I could have some good clouds to blend in later.

I will be looking for that gorgeous place Unintangler showed (Timpanogos north) this afternoon, then I think fall color is finished for me this year.
