"I Heart Lake"

Spent 4 days in the Adirondacks recently around the Lake Placid region. Havent been there in about 10 years...and never during fall. Here's the first image I pulled...from my first sunset...while sitting on a layover in LAX.

composition is great and I like the hints of fall colors throughout. Is this a vertical pano?

I really wish you would post your images a bit bigger so we could really appreciate the quality of them. Im sure this is insanely clean.

Aaron: Great job on the milky way from Mt. Jo. Dean and I were up there I think the same weekend, but we didn't get to Jo. You really did well with this, and I enjoyed the story on the blog.

great capture there.
Regarding your story, after having issues on my way down from a night shoot recently, I have upgraded my head torch. Definitely important to always have one that is adequate in case you want to stay out for the stars.
