Long an admirer of these leaves over the years, finally an opportunity to do something about it. The muted color is what I enjoy most....mostly cliché but here they are anyway

I also like these. The first and 4th are my favorites due to the backlighting. Now that it is fall, I think a triptych would be great. The first panel would be green leaves, the second would show the start of Fall colors and the last would show full colors.

Nice set Bob, I'm partial to the tones of the third and the water droplets of the last one (maybe a portrait crop of just the right half).

You might want to check your color balance, as there appears to be some blue/magenta cast in some areas (leaving some yellow/green on the table).

Bob, I like 1, 3 and four. Agree with Kent about a slight blue color cast. Like the water drops in the last pic but the dead leaves aren't my favorite ( may grow on me ) but well seen. While I like the framing in 2, something just doesn't work as well as the other compositions, maybe the background, try shooting from lower angle or possibly using a tripod ( I know a tripod defeats the purpose of using the x-pro1 ) and focus stack the 3 areas of interest.

Thanks folks,

Glad you enjoyed them. I'll check the OOC jpgs for color variance - final processing used LR which I believe played a role in that - it and my defective color fine tuning skills.
