Elmarit-r 19mm V2 OR Schneider PC TS Makro-Symmar

I recently acquired a nice copy of Emlarit-r 19mm V2 which is shaved to clear Canon FF mirrors, but unfortunately not enough to clear D800's mirror.

Here are my options:
(a) Have the 19mm further shaved by someone who knows what he/she is doing
(b) trade for a Schneider PC TS Makro-Symmar f4.5 (trade in the works)

I realize they are quite different in terms of focal lengths. I tend to shoot more towards the wide end (21 Distagon being my favorite), so 19mm was very attractive to me. On the other had I have also wanted to use a quality TS lens and use it for the deliberate on-a-tripod spectacular vista type opportunities.

I know the 19mm will get used a lot more due to its size and rendering, but I wonder if that will be much different than my 21mm. Schneider 90mm is also very attractive for its image quality and the ability to shoot in a way 21,mm or 19mm wont.

What would you do? Perhaps you can help me make up my mind.

The 19mm has gentler rendering than the 21 Distagon, but the corners aren't as good wide open, so I wouldn't personally keep two such lenses around at the same time.

Is that the new blue 90mm lens? Interesting bit of kit. Be sure to post some photos when you get a feeling for it.

By the way, there is a typo in the lens name, it is Elmarit, not Emlarit. This might stop searches from finding the thread...

Yes Carsten. Its the one with a blue ring.
