I've photographed Audrey about a year ago.
This time we just want some simple, natural light portraits ( often when I asked a model to do a shoot, their first question is usually along the line of "What theme?" - why do we have to do a theme? Can't we just do some simple shots in a shoot?)

Anyway, we got together last weekend I took these in a room at her place:

David, these are elegantly & expertly done, as always. +1 to shots 1,2,5. You make plain carpet & a white wall look much more interesting than they really are.

Boy she has a lot of hair! The headshot in #5 is super simple, but it sure hits the mark (at least for me).

Agree with you regarding themes, sometimes it's good just to shoot.

Having a good looking subject without overdone makeup is almost-always refreshing.

Liked 1 and 4 best, seemed most natural. For some reason, I'm drawn to lower-contrast B+Ws (#4).

Thank you very much. I think having plain background helps to keep the view focus on the subject more

The only one that is just "ok" is #3 for me. The other shots looks like they could be in a major department store. (I.E. JC Penny) Very nice!

These are great. The neck looks awkward in #3. I don't know if you have more, but she's got a great long neck. It's a good excuse for another shoot to explore that further. I'm envisioning a shot with her back to the camera, head slightly tilted towards the near shoulder with nice silhouette light.
