Spent the first two weeks of September in Yellowstone and since then have been going through the just over 2,000 images that I came home with. Still have over half to go through but here are a few that I have liked so far.

Love the September golden color of the grass.

Lions Group Geyser - lucked into this one, went off as we were walking by and the mist created a perfect rainbow.

Riverside Geyser. The sun was right behind it so it was difficult to get properly exposed images.

Yellowstone is a cool place to hang out. #4 is my favorite, you really nailed that shot. With #5, actually shooting into the sun like that can be tricky, but it can create super cool shots too. My issue with #5 is the two tree branches coming in from the right side, they are very distracting and really take away from the geyser. I would content aware fill those two out of there. And next time just step if you can in front of the trees. I know that area is a bit tricky for moving though, but that would be best.

In #5 I like the two branches. To me it adds to the depth of the image. In the 50s we were taught to add a branch or tree limb in the near field for just that reason. Things and taste do change over the years though. A great set of images.
