Thank you all for the comments and picks. I have been growing dahlias for forty some years and started taking photos for sales flyers for a small business selling dahlia tubers. At first I just took square crop closeups of the flowers. Since I quit selling dahlias a few years ago I have been trying to do portraits of the flowers. Usually without a great deal of success, but these are closer to what is in my mind than most. Thanks again.

Lovely vibrance on the entire set! A great 3D feel in these, these darker flowers are working well against the brighter green BG.
