It was too rainy to do anything outdoors, so here are some from a first set with more to come in an outdoor session for RR Tracks, cars, fences and hay bales.....

Rhiley is new to farming (2 months) and fresh out of a skate boarding fad... these were done inside of his grandparents barn.

Lee, thanks for sharing these. Seems like a nice kid. The focus was missed in a few of these which takes away from an otherwise nice shot. I am not sure if its the temperature, but something his skin color up against the wood backdrop doesnt jive with me. I like the last image, but I wish he was looking at the camera! Did you do some PP on his eyes? If so, I would back it off a little. Have a great day!

It looks like you pushed the blue channels in the last shot but not the surrounding color range, you'll notice his eyes are very blue but then blocky yellow as well; be much better off selecting the eyes with the marquee tool and manipulating saturation that way. 3rd is the best, the pose in 1/2 will be regrettable if his friends see it IMO.

Missed focus......? I don't see it... maybe the decompression of uploading a smaller image makes them seem not in perfect focus... but if I look at the full zoom in LR, focus seems to be pretty darn good.

I played with a lot of channels to get the eye's to pop that blue... I agree, it may be a bit much, but mom really talked about his blue eyes... which aren't as blue as pics from childhood photos...., so in this one shot, I overdid it.. end result was the skin around the bridge of his nose.....

I also hate the placement of that hand in 1/2..... this poor kid had hand issues... and not knowing what to do with them..... no matter what we did, he seemed to have retarded hand syndrome.

Here are a few more for you all with smiles and looks at the cam....

Noted, I saw that when I was doing the post, but wasn't sure how glaring it would be or how noticeable...

I also noticed in post that in some, the collar got kind of wonky in some of them... that got fixed when he stood up, but I should have been more aware of it during the shoot....... little details....
