I met this sweet poodle, that I instantly named "Bunny", because she looked rather like a bunny, during my morning work-out/hiking preparing for my Grand Canyon Hiking in NOv.
Perhaps I should post her story. Well here it is, if you care to read:
How to lose a gorgeous girl!
The temperature dropped precipitously in the last few days. When I started the work-out hiking to day, it was 45 degrees, very inducible for vigorous hiking. So armed the i-phone and a stick and my trainer, Shella --the ap-lady of iphone--and the Material Girl started to warm me up. At half mile I was ready for climbing the stiff road. No big deal going up 300 ft in 1/2 mile. Pat Benatar pushed me to the top ":We are young...We are strong, no one can tell us we are wrong...love is battlefield." Reaching the top, I turned around to retrace my way when I noticed two dogs, one huge and a cute poodle. Normally the big one would bark behind the fence. But to day he was just watching. Hiking, I talked to the poodle, named instantly by me: Bunny. She looked like one of these cute bunnies I encountered on my hiking trail. The big dog stayed behind the fence. No way he could get out. But Bunny sneaked under the fence and ran after me, very friendly right away. I kept my speedy pace. She circled around me. I found it amusing. But she kept up with me and I started to remind her to go back home. But no, with me, she had so much fun. I started worry. Big dogs followed me around. I didn't worry about them. But this little bunny!! So I had to find way to get her home. Down the hill where I climbed up to make friend with Bunny on top, I prepared myself to climb back up there so she would go home. But before I turned around, I took out my iphone to take a picture of her. At that time my wife, sitting on her dinning table, drinking coffee and eating papaya, was keeping track of me---I saw it on my phone. So Bunny ran back home following me. Once in front of her home, I thought and hoped she would sneak back behind her fence and stayed. But no. She kept herself close to me. So I kept "hiking" back and forth. Two times, she was some what far from me, I walked away. She right away ran after me. Desperate, I pretended to frighten her off. But it didn't work. She already knew me so well. She knew I liked her. So she just had fun with my scaring strategy. You see, men. You can't fool a lady when she notices your feeling for her. You men can't hide it!!
Using all my brain power I now tried to fool her. Always "hiking" back and forth, pretending not interested in her, I managed to get her running away. Finally she ran 30 away from me. I took the opportunity and ran like a mad man, turning the corners as soon as I found one so that she couldn't spot me. luckily there were many turns in the 1/4 mile of my run. It worked.
