Taken this morning on the first day of fall, near DeMott campground. Still lots of green trees, mostly yellows, but a little tiny bit of red.

Wow. I live in Arizona and didn't know the trees in the north change colours.

Thanks Brock. The forest is mostly pine, but there are quite a few aspens.

Wow, that's quite good.
So it will be on its peak near Flagstaff soon.

Sasha, I sure hope so. That's where were headed next week. Flagstaff is a wee bit lower than the canyon, so at least on paper it should be a little bit later than the rim.

Flagstaff should peak around 10/10 or so.

Elton, you might be pretty close. I just left there today, and there was a lot of green still on the trees.
